Avago Technologies Demonstrates 40GB / s InfiniBand Network Connection Technology at SC'08 Conference
Avago Technologies has announced that it will join SCinet's 40Gb / s QDR InfiniBand network at the SC08 conference currently being held in Austin, Texas. Avago is based on QSFP, with a connection distance of up to 100 meters and speeds per channel. The 10Gbps parallel optical modules allow systems distributed everywhere to easily interact on the network.
SCinet is an efficient network specifically designed to support this conference.
