# The original innovator # white sun drying my headphones PHILIPS Philips Fidelio L2

I’ve always been a fan of using high-quality headsets, and it wasn’t easy waiting until Dogdong’s 618 sale to finally pull the trigger. Out of nowhere, I got a push notification from my phone saying the price of 399 was also part of the promotion. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive, so I decided to go for it. The L2BO/00 model features a semi-open design, a 40mm neodymium magnet speaker unit, and a preset tilt angle based on the ear's natural angle, directing sound more directly into the ear. Its frequency response ranges from 12-26000Hz, offering good performance across all frequencies. In terms of materials, the double aluminum ear cups add to its premium feel. Shopping Process: ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/a2/cf/9a/5c3ac6603ceb87dca1019e1a96.jpg) Honestly, I couldn't complain too much. Ordered on the 17th, received on the 23rd. It took six full days from placing the order to receiving it. 618 logistics was sluggish, and JD.com's customer service was overwhelmed. Despite repeated calls to JD, I had no choice but to wait patiently. On the 23rd, the delivery guy called me and said that JD had packed it up and sent it over. The packaging was simple—just a regular JD shopping bag. ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/b4/64/e9/96132f79b4bd8be31174bf6e2e.jpg) ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/e8/1a/a8/079a4af170469522866ead9a99.jpg) Outer Packaging Photos: The packaging was relatively thick and looked better than my colleague’s K450. I’m too lazy to return them anyway! Headphones are very well packed, though the box looks a bit flimsy. ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/2f/72/53/c96c4ea6784ee6cbf200aeffb7.jpg) Single product earphones don’t provide much skin contact. They’re designed to be worn around the ears. They’re not ideal for winter, but they might be a bit too warm in summer. ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/b4/f5/f6/930704c9b361c05441ee99a343.jpg) The single unit cable is sturdy, with solid copper joints. ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/0c/8d/c5/503a6b33954042522ac96ecbc5.jpg) Detail shot of the earmuffs, which appear to be wrapped in calf leather. One fits ordinary mobile phones, while the other is for professional devices. The cable is thick, strong, neither too long nor too short, making it portable. ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/06/23/fe/e99fb01e8b064ba5eb3d89105b.jpg) Packing box. ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/9c/59/34/e10384b894e600d8d1d626d2b5.jpg) Family portrait. Unfortunately, the cloth bag provided isn’t ideal for carrying the headphones outside without fear of damage. Not convenient. Storage Size: ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/f3/4b/a2/96a0cdf33321cacff6721ddb99.jpg) After storage. The storage bag is just a regular cloth bag, doesn’t seem waterproof. Front view of the headphones: ![Image](http://i.bosscdn.com/blog/ba/55/80/7328c31d9d53ec87b6f4c614a1.jpg) It took a while to find the Chinese manual at the end. The print quality is clear, and the layout is clean. Talk about it! Before listening to mobile phone headphones and occasionally borrowing my colleague’s K450 or K420 to listen to, I was honestly unimpressed when I first tried them. Plugging them into my phone, they sounded very ordinary, almost as bad as my Apple earbuds or even worse than the K450. The K450 was even worse than the K450 for the first try, which left me a bit shocked (forgive my ignorance). At first, I thought I might have bought a counterfeit headset. So, after checking online reviews, it turns out that this headset requires wearing parts and adjusting them properly to reach a stable state. A friend who owns a pair confirmed this. It’s just a matter of getting used to it. Finally: After 4-6 days of playing around, it changed. Listening to Tsai Chin’s Ferry sounded more like my colleague’s K450. The singer’s voice seemed clearer, and the sound field was upfront. The sound was relatively straightforward and honest, with a less intimidating bass effect. The overall quality of the headset was quite decent. As someone who has never owned an expensive headset before, it was hard to fully appreciate it without a good player or higher-end headphones. To sum it up: The headphones work well. The aluminum beam and calfskin packaging feel very good. The weight is still relatively light, providing a solid factory feel. Good value for money, a street weapon. Compared to the red AKG and the big Pik Pond logo, the Fidelio is more understated. Cost-effective and with discounts, it only costs 349 yuan. Unlike the 450 series, it doesn’t come with a portable case. This cloth bag is inconvenient for carrying and lacks protection. It’s really worrying about being crushed. These headphones really need to be worn properly. I estimate that they were picked up by another player who didn’t use them. Disadvantages: The headphones can’t be folded for convenience. The standard storage bag is just cloth, which doesn’t protect the headphones well. The wire control seems to only work with Apple products and can’t suspend Android. All-in-one children’s shoes might be liked in summer but are really hot. Criticize what happens if it’s someone else’s return. It should be marked, and if returned, the packaging should remain intact to avoid secondary sales. This isn’t fair to consumers. Good sound quality and reasonable price. At this price, this brand can be considered a young person’s first Hi-Fi headphones! Highly recommended!
