Following the official launch of its Russian subsidiary in June this year, BOE has been actively expanding its global footprint. On September 27, the company officially established its Middle East subsidiary in Dubai, marking a significant step in its international strategy and further strengthening its presence in emerging markets.
As Chinese companies continue to accelerate their globalization efforts, the Middle East has become an attractive region due to its strategic location along the "Belt and Road" initiative. Dubai, as the economic and financial hub of the region, serves as a key center for re-export trade across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. This makes it a crucial market for global manufacturers. By setting up a local subsidiary, BOE aims to bring its cutting-edge display technologies and innovative products directly to the Middle East, better serving customers and enhancing brand recognition in the region.
During a recent event in Dubai, BOE showcased its latest advancements in TFT-LCD and AMOLED display technologies, as well as smart system solutions. The 65-inch 8K ultra-high-definition display featured BOE's proprietary ADSDS super-hard screen technology and BV3 technology, delivering exceptional image quality with wide viewing angles and ultra-low power consumption. The world’s first 5.5-inch full-screen QHD flexible AMOLED display, capable of S-shaped bending, redefined traditional device design. Additionally, BOE’s digital art gallery, known as the "BOE Painting Screen," demonstrated how technology and art can merge seamlessly in the IoT era, offering immersive and interactive experiences.
The company also presented a range of IoT-oriented innovations, including VR displays, in-vehicle screens, transparent displays, mirror displays, and digital signage, highlighting its strong capabilities in smart manufacturing and commercial display services.
In the first half of 2017, BOE filed over 4,000 new patent applications, bringing its total number of patents to more than 55,000, placing it at the top of the global industry. Its smartphone LCD, tablet, and laptop display shipments ranked first globally, while its TV and monitor shipments secured the second-largest share worldwide. BOE is a key supplier for many leading electronics brands.
With a growing international presence, BOE now operates subsidiaries in the U.S., Germany, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Singapore, India, Brazil, and other key regions. Its service network spans Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The new Middle East subsidiary not only strengthens the global influence of Chinese brands but also supports regional economic development and fosters stronger ties between China and the "Belt and Road" initiative.
Transmission And Distribution Pole
Steel poles are commonly used to carry several types of electric power lines, distribution lines and lighting system. Distribution lines carry power from local substations to customers. They generally carry voltages from 4.6 to 33kV for distances up to 30 miles, and include transformers to step the voltage down from the primary voltage to the lower secondary voltage used by the customer. A service drop carries this lower voltage to the customer's premises.
