Panasonic enters the mainland LED lighting market in July and expands to 60 models during the year

According to Japanese media reports, Panasonic will enter the residential LED lighting market in mainland China in July this year. Eighteen LED lighting products will be launched, including two LED ceiling lights and 16 LED downlights, and plans to expand the number of products to approximately 60 this year.

It is reported that Panasonic will produce high-quality and other appeals, so the price will be higher than the mainland LED manufacturers, mainly to attack the middle class and the wealthy market.

In addition to Panasonic's LED lighting products for the mainland market, which will be used in the "Beijing factory" of fluorescent lamps, Panasonic plans to release outsourcing OEM orders for LED lighting in order to reduce production costs.

Panasonic plans to increase its LED lighting business revenue to more than 200 billion yen in 2015, with the overseas market target of 40 billion yen, and the mainland China market is expected to contribute 40% of revenue.
