The total number of stores in the year will reach 2,400. According to official figures released by Sony, sales of its notebook computer products have increased by 75% in the Chinese market over the past year, exceeding the industry's average of 26%. Sony believes that the growth comes from the expansion of product lines, personalized customization services, and the expansion of channels, including the penetration of chain channels in the primary and secondary markets, as well as the layout of the 46 markets.

Chen Ning, Director of VAIO Products Department of Sony China Consumer Electronics Business Unit, told the “Daily Economic News” that Sony had been vertically connected with distributors and had not implemented the agency system. In fact, Sony is quite concerned with Apple's "restrictive pricing offensive." Chen Ning admits to reporters that when it comes to pricing new laptops, it does have a reference to the competitor's pricing system. "We study the target user groups, analyze the products of competitors that they may use, and will refer to the pricing of these products." This includes the iPad.

In addition to considering the impact of tablet PCs when the laptop is priced, Sony also plans to actively join the Pad group. At the CES show at the beginning of the year, Sony showed related products.
