The EMIEW3 is the latest model introduced by Hitachi following the release of the "EMIEW" and "EMIEW2" robots in 2005 and 2007. It is 90 cm tall and weighs about 15 kg. Although it is small in size, it can walk in harmony with people. The fastest moving speed is 6 kilometers per hour. After falling, you can stand up on your own. From September 2nd, EMIEW3 began an empirical test at Haneda Airport, using LCD screens to provide passengers with some directions and guidance services.
The functions, sounds, and language of the EMIEW3 robot are not handled by their internal programs, but are handled by an external intelligent system, which improves the intelligence level and service level of the robot. EMIEW3 recognizes specific sounds in noise, communicates with guests in noisy environments, and discovers customers who seem to need help and proactively provides services. Multiple robots in different locations can also share information online.
