In addition to the new standard, the revised Standardization Law mandates that companies clearly state the names and numbers of both mandatory and recommended standards on their products. This law, which took effect on January 1, 2018, strengthens the enforcement of national standards and increases transparency for consumers.

Companies are now investing more in research and development to meet the higher performance requirements. As a result, the water purification industry is gradually moving toward a more regulated and professional direction.
