The 72-hour trial operation of the third unit of the Three Gorges Underground Power Station

The reporter learned from the Gezhouba Group, the construction unit of the underground power station of the Three Gorges on the 11th, that the third unit (No. 30 unit) of the Three Gorges Underground Power Station formally entered the 72-hour test run from the 10th and the grid-connected power generation entered the countdown.

It is understood that the 72-hour test run of the unit is a comprehensive inspection before entering into formal power generation. During trial operation, the unit's working status is the same as that of the official power generation. The vast majority of electromechanical equipment problems can be found in 72 hours of operation. After the crew has completed the 72-hour operation, it will be fully inspected, and it will be formally connected to the grid after reaching the standard.

The 30th unit is the last unit of the first wholesaler of the Three Gorges underground power station. It is supplied by domestic manufacturers and has a power of 700,000 kilowatts. It began to install on July 31 last year, and the rotor hoisting is in place on June 5 to enter the assembly and commissioning stage. On July 1 of this year, water-free commissioning was completed and water debugging was completed.

According to plan, Unit 30 is expected to start production in mid-July. At that time, the Three Gorges underground power station will complete the first batch of 3 units of power generation plan, the second batch of 3 units plan to put into production by May next year.
