Ultrasonic cleaning method - Beijing Jinke Lida Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.
1) Unpacking inspection and installation. After unpacking, carefully check the parts of the ultrasonic cleaner for looseness, and verify that all accessories are included according to the packing list. Next, install the machine in a dry and well-ventilated area, ensuring it is placed on a flat surface. If the washing machine has a drainage system, connect the water inlet, drain pipe, and overflow discharge pipe properly.
2) Fill the ultrasonic cleaning tank with water. Add an appropriate amount of water depending on the cleaning needs. The cleaning solution should fully submerge the items being cleaned. Avoid pouring boiling water into the tank, as this can damage the transducer due to sudden temperature changes.
3) Correctly connect the electrical circuit. Turn on the power and ensure the plug is connected correctly (use a three-hole socket). Make sure there is a proper grounding wire to guarantee safe operation. Follow the installation manual to connect the temperature control sensor, ultrasonic drive lines, heater control lines, and other necessary wiring between the control cabinet and the main unit of the cleaning machine.
4) Start ultrasonic cleaning and heating. Turn on the heating switch and adjust the temperature knob so that the white mark aligns with the desired temperature setting. Ensure the cleaning agent’s maximum temperature does not exceed the recommended limit during use (see Figure 1).

(Fig. 1) 5) Add the cleaning agent. When the water reaches the desired temperature, add the appropriate cleaning solution—such as water, alcohol, or degreaser—into the tank. The type of cleaning agent should be selected based on the object being cleaned. Usually, one dose is sufficient. Stir the solution to ensure full dissolution, which can also be done by activating the ultrasonic function or using an aeration device.
6) Pretreatment of parts. Before starting the ultrasonic cleaning, gently remove surface dirt using a bamboo brush or similar tool. For example, dust on the outer surfaces of components like cylinder blocks should be removed before cleaning. This helps extend the life of the cleaning fluid, as ultrasonic waves are not effective at removing heavy mud or sludge.
7) Place the parts. Put the items into a steel basket and lower them into the cleaning tank. If multiple parts are being cleaned at once, distribute them evenly in the basket without overlapping to ensure optimal cleaning performance.
8) Turn on the ultrasonic cleaner. Switch on the power. The display will show “00†initially. Press the up button to increase the cleaning time by 1 minute each press, or hold it for continuous increments. Use the down button to decrease the time accordingly.
9) Stop the machine. To stop the cleaning process, press the “OFF†button, then press “NO†to return to the main menu.
10) Overflow management. If oil or debris floats on the surface of the cleaning solution, open the overflow system to remove it and avoid re-contamination of the cleaned parts. Open the overflow valve and fill the tank until the liquid starts to overflow. Use a scraper to help remove the floating oil. Keep the overflow drain closed to prevent accidental spills.
11) Post-cleaning treatment. Remove the cleaned parts (see Figure 2), blow out any remaining cleaning solution from holes using compressed air, and dry the surface with a blow gun. If possible, rinse the parts in a nearby pool after removal for better results.

(Fig. 2) 12) Cleaning agent maintenance. If too many parts are cleaned at once, the cleaning solution may become contaminated with sludge and lose effectiveness. It is recommended to use a separate storage tank to allow the dirty solution to settle and be recycled, reducing overall costs.
13) Soaking assistance. Some parts, such as cylinder heads, pistons, and intake manifolds, may have heavy carbon deposits. In such cases, a soaking and softening process before ultrasonic cleaning can significantly improve the cleaning outcome, especially for stubborn buildup.
