Recently, 69 new LED street lights were newly opened in the 5th section of Huandao East Road, Jinmen County. The 400W/200W nano-lights and mercury lamps installed in 1998 were eliminated, and the intelligent remote monitoring system for LED street lights was installed.
The Jinmen County Government pointed out that the intelligent remote monitoring system for LED street lights can be adjusted to reduce energy consumption and achieve energy saving and carbon reduction through automatic management and the Central Meteorological Administration's annual sunrise and day schedule.
In the next four years, the county will replace 13704 street lamps throughout the island year by year. The total estimated expenditure is NT$3,065 million. The follow-up will also promote the renewal of public street lights in Lianyu Township.
