Ziyang Avenue replaced the 480-watt high-pressure sodium lamp with 220-watt LED street light, becoming the first demonstration road for energy-saving and emission reduction built by Nanchang City using LED lighting technology. At the same time, Yangming Road, which is about to be completed and opened to traffic, has also adopted LED energy-saving lamps in a large number of street lighting and landscape lighting. The reporter learned that Yang Ming Road installed a 94-double double-steel LED street light. In the case of the same lighting effect, these LED lamps save more than 55% of energy consumption compared to conventional energy-saving lamps.
In addition to the road, the city also applied LED lights on the Hongdu Hero Bridge and Nanchang Bridge. On the eve of the National Day this year, more than 1,000 new energy-saving and environmentally-friendly LED full-color digital lights were illuminated on the north side of Nanchang Bridge. At present, the renovation of the Bayi Bridge is underway, and the LED energy-saving lamps will be widely used in the beautification and lighting project of the bridge body to add a beautiful night view to the Lijiang River. By 2011, the city will strive to promote the application of LED energy-saving street lamps 18,000 baht. By 2016, the demonstration application of LED energy-saving street lamps will reach 100,000 baht.
