Open Benchmarking Performance Data OpenBenchmarking. Recently, there have been several very interesting results on org, all from AMD's next-generation mainstream processor Trinity APU. These engineered sample systems expose Trinity APU specifications and performance levels to varying degrees. The first set of sample operating system is Ubuntu 11.04, the system kernel Linux 2.6.38, the processor string is described as "AMD Eng Sample 2M252057C4450_32/25/16_9900_609", the graphic core string is "Trinity Devastator Mobile", PCI ID 0x9900, the main board marked "AMD Pumori".
The Trinity APU in this system is quad-core, clocked at 2.5GHz, not too high, but it has some performance in the A8-3850 2.9GHz.
The second set of "AMD Eng Sample 2M252157C4450_32/25/16_9903_609" is also a 2.5GHz quad core, but the graphics core is slightly different and the PCI ID becomes 0x9903, which should be a faster version. Unfortunately, the catalyst driver does not fully support this system, or the manufacturer does not install it.
The third set is "AMD Eng Sample 2D332158A2350_36/33/16_9991_711", dual-core, clocked at 3.3GHz, much higher than the existing 2.7GHz, and the graphics core is called "Trinity Scrapper", PCI ID0x9991, the motherboard is "AMD Annapurna "The operating system is the latest Ubuntu 11.10, Linux 3.0 kernel.
Finally, take a look at a dual-track bulldozer server system with the processor string "AMD Eng Sample 1S192145TGG44_3/19/2_2/16", a 16-core version, operating system Ubuntu 11.10.
Many of these results have been uploaded with /proc/cpuinfo, so other specifications, such as cache capacity, are available at a glance. However, in order to avoid unnecessary troubles, they are still not disclosed. Interested friends can dig and dig themselves.
