Beijing: The Dragon Boat Festival will open all night lighting at 22:30

The Beijing Municipal Government Office issued the “Measures for the Administration of Beijing Night Lighting” yesterday and implemented it on the date of promulgation. This method will replace the “Beijing City Night Lighting Management Measures”.
The reporter noticed that the new night lighting method will manage the nightscape lighting facilities in Beijing in accordance with the three levels of weekdays, general holidays and major holidays, and will improve the night lighting specifications of the three festivals of the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and August Day Army Day. The night lighting operation management from the original "normal operation management" to "general holiday".
This means that in the future during the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and the August 1st Army Day, all nightscape lighting facilities will be opened in Beijing. The night scene lighting referred to in the method includes road lighting and night landscape lighting constructed and put into use in the municipal administrative area, as well as some temporary landscape lighting.
Beijing night lighting is divided into three levels
(1) Operational management on weekdays.
Time: Sunday to Thursday.
Scope: Chang'an Street and its extension line, Second Ring Road, North Third Ring Road, North Fourth Ring Road, Qiansanmen Street, Ping'an Avenue, Wangfujing Street, Beijing Railway Station Front Street, Financial Street, Xidan North Street, Chongzhen Street , Dashilan Commercial Street, Zhongguancun Street, Yangfangdian Road, Liangguang Road, Palace Museum, Jingshan Park, Bell and Drum Tower, Temple of Heaven Hall, Beihai Park, West Railway Station Area, Mingcheng Wall Ruins Park, Huangchenggen Relics Park, etc. Night lighting and lighting facilities in the area.
Opening time: Open with road lighting.
Closing time: from May 1st to September 30th, it is 22 hours a day; from October 1st to April 30th, it is 21:30 every day.
(2) Operation management of holidays.
Time: Friday, Saturday, Dragon Boat Festival, Children's Day, the anniversary of the birth of the Communist Party of China, the People's Liberation Army Army Memorial Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, New Year's Day holiday and the day before.
Scope: All night view lighting facilities.
Opening time: Open with road lighting.
Closing time: from May 1st to September 30th, it is 22:30 daily; from October 1st to April 30th, it is 22 hours daily.
(3) Operation management of major holidays.
Time: During the Spring Festival, International Labor Day and National Day holiday and the day before.
Scope: All night view lighting facilities.
Opening time: Open with road lighting.
Closed time: 24 hours a day.
Remarks: In case of special circumstances such as major events, the opening and closing time will be notified by the municipal administrative department.
