First quarter domestic IC market conditions

According to statistics, sales of China's integrated circuit industry in 2013 were 51.82 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.4%. Among them, the design industry continued to maintain rapid growth, sales of 13.99 billion yuan, an increase of 20.1%; manufacturing sales of 14.71 billion yuan, an increase of 16.5%; packaging and testing industry sales of 23.12 billion yuan, an increase of 5.9%.

According to customs statistics, 60.69 billion ICs were imported in the first quarter of 2013, an increase of 21% year-on-year; the import value was US$61.06 billion, an increase of 52.4% year-on-year. The number of IC exports reached 3.65 billion, an increase of 69.2% year-on-year; the export value was US$29.79 billion, an increase of 293% year-on-year.
